WOMANS MISSIONARY UNION / WOMENS ENRICHMENT MINISTRY

1 Corinthians 3:9 states, “For we are laborers together with God”. Colossians 1:10 says, “Walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”

The purpose of the WMU (Woman’s Missionary Union) is to pray, give, and do missions; in others words, learning of mission needs and being motivated to action to glorify God. WEM (Women’s Enrichment Ministry) seeks to provide Christian growth through Bible study and various outreach fellowship events scheduled throughout the year. The WMU is the umbrella for all ages of mission groups. Evelyn Jones, WMU Director, with committee assistance coordinates church-wide emphasis and Women on Mission groups. Lisa Conner, WEM Director, with committee assistance coordinates WEM Bible studies and activities. The two committees work together in all activities, seeking to involve all women in Christian growth and mission involvement. The Minister of Preschool and Children coordinates Mission Friends (preschool-age missions), Girl’s in Action, and Royal Ambassador’s. The Minister of Youth coordinates missions for our youth.
