Miss Louise always begins the tour of our Church on the front steps of our sanctuary. The cornerstone to this historical building was placed in a ceremony on July 19, 1909 at 5 P.M. Our forefathers, who began our church in 1823, could have scarcely dreamed of a building of this size and beauty. The beautiful Greco-Roman columns and other unique architectural features retain their full glory from that time long ago. These, along with the large stone steps and pedestals outside provide an excellent opportunity for pictures of the wedding party, or the guests as they arrive. In addition, this large area can be used for the well-wishers' gathering after the wedding and reception for the final "send-off".
1 Corinthians 13:1 - If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. |
