The Groom's Quarters For our next stop on the tour, Miss Louise takes us upstairs (via the back staircase) to the Groom's Quarters. This is the area where the groom and his party can get prepared for the ceremony in complete privacy. Two large dressing rooms and an adjoining kitchenette, complete with a small refrigerator, icemaker, and coffeemaker, are offered to make the men comfortable. The men in the wedding party also have easy access to a large men's restroom on the same floor. However, in order to get to the restroom, they must walk past the main stairwell. While it seems impossible for the men to actually see anything from this vantage point, Miss Louise will still be quick to remind you of her "no-peeking" rule! You are cautioned to walk as close to the left side of the pass-through as possible...so as not to upset time-honored traditions!
