Children's Ministry Center Touching the lives of children with God's love. Toddler 2:
Our objective in the Toddler 2 class is to foster the children's self-identity and instill a positive "school" experience. We do this by nurturing the child's physical, emotional, and mental development. To reach this objective, we provide:
- a safe, attractive environment with sufficient routine and creative playtime
- loving, caring adults to help the children experience trust.
- lessons to help the children learn to respect other children and develop friendships
- basic love expressed through gentleness blended with sufficient firmness.
Each day our schedule is as follows: playtime, art, snack, outside recreation, story & music, lunch, and manipulative play such as puzzles & playdough.
The curricula in our class follows the Wee Learn format and is specifically geared toward toddlers. We try to remain flexible though to allow the children to adjust to the school experience.
